Alan has been coaching riders for too many years to mention! With a racing career of a few highs, but mainly lows, he later in life realised what it actually took to stand a chance of succeeding in the sport. Through embarking on a life of helping others achieve their dreams and a lot of trial and error, he has finally reached a point of feeling qualified to have experiences to pass on to riders and navigate them through their journey.
Alan has had much success in developing riders, bringing many from junior riders all the way through their journey to Pro rider.
Olly has over 10 years serious racing experience, with a racing career that has seen him through the precarious youth and junior ranks racing the intense British national series events and learning what real racing is about in Belgium and the Netherlands.
After a year in the senior ranks and with education finished, Olly moved to the USA to take a Pro contract with the Astellas race team. With a diet of stage races and big time town centre races, Olly had to learn quickly and thrived in the environment.
The year after Olly returned to Europe to race with the Baguet team in Belgium, where he continued his learning. Now with his second British National track title under his belt, Olly got to ride Derny Kermesses against the likes of Tom Boonen and also rode the famous Gent 6 day track event.
Now living in Belgium full time and working his way through his sports science degree, Olly continues to race at a high level and is also in the perfect position to pass on his experience to aspiring riders.
Olly has worked with Project 51 since starting his journey as a youth rider, so is the perfect fit for the Project 51 coaching model.
